General meeting of the Data Community Poland Association members

On June 12th, the general meeting of the Data Community Poland Association, headquartered in Wrocław, took place. The management board was granted discharge, and two new members were elected to the Audit Committee (Piotr Balik and Rafał Zakrzewski).The term of Mariusz Wójcik as a board member was also extended.

In 2023, the association carried out a number of initiatives in accordance with its statute:

SQL Day 2023: The conference took place in Wrocław and online (May 13-15). The first day featured workshops, followed by technical sessions over the next two days, divided into five tracks.

Data Saturday Lublin: The conference was held on September 30, 2023, at the Lublin University of Technology. The conference was aimed at professionals involved in data processing, database administration, Data Science, and Microsoft technologies, including Azure and SQL Server.

The following number of local group meetings were also held:

• Bydgoszcz: 13 meetings
• Warszawa: 4 meetings
• Wrocław: 10 meetings
• Katowice: 3 meetings
• Kraków: 9 meetings
• Trójmiasto: 5 meetings (group reactivation)
• Bielsko-Biała: 3 meetings (a new group led by Krzysztof Burejza)

Other activities:

• Launching a Discord server (September 12)
• Admission of 8 new members
• Joining the Bydgoszcz IT Cluster (December)
